Stornoway 12 – Classic Wooden Dinghy for Rowing & Sailing
The Stornoway 12 is the second in what’s becoming a classic range of traditional craft. With six planks per side, she boasts a beautifully rounded hull that’s as elegant as it is seaworthy.
The stitch-and-epoxy construction method makes building quick and straightforward, producing a lightweight yet strong hull. For those who prefer other methods, mould shapes for clinker/ply or strip planking are also available.
Her high-peaked gaff rig keeps spars shorter and reduces twist at the head of the sail, offering excellent performance without extra complexity. She’s spacious, with side benches, and can be built for rowing only or rowing and sailing—ideal for family adventures on the water.
The Stornoway 12 can also carry the sprit or lug rigs from the Highlander 12 and can be fitted with a foredeck for added versatility.
